How freight delivery works
  1. Made to order. Your grill or island is built for your order and usually ships in 3–4 weeks.
  2. Shipped on a pallet by freight truck (LTL freight — not UPS or FedEx) and wrapped for transport.
  3. Delivery appointment. The carrier contacts you to set a delivery window, so someone can be home.
  4. Curbside delivery. The driver delivers to your curb or driveway. Plan for two people to move it to its final spot.
Arrived damaged? We make it right

Check the shipment before you sign and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt. Send photos and your order number to support@chichomedeco.com within 48 hours — we handle the claim with the carrier for you.

MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

• All made-to-order products are manufactured based on the specifications selected at checkout.
• Because each item is produced specifically for your order, changes or cancellations are not possible once production has started.
• Made-to-order and personalized products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
• By placing your order, you confirm that the selected size, finish, model, and configuration are correct.

LIMITED DEFECT COVERAGE

We stand behind the quality of the products we offer. If your item arrives with a verified manufacturing defect or production error, we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

To qualify for review, please contact us within 24 to 48 hours of delivery and provide:

• Clear photos of the issue
• Your order number
• A short description of the defect

If the claim is approved, repair or replacement may be arranged at our discretion. This coverage applies only to verified manufacturing defects.

INCORRECT ITEMS

• If you receive the wrong size, color, model, or configuration, please notify us within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
• Please provide clear photos, your order number, and keep all original packaging materials.

FREIGHT & DELIVERY DAMAGE

Due to the size and weight of many premium outdoor products, freight delivery may be required.

• Please inspect the shipment carefully at the time of delivery.
• If visible damage is present, note the damage with the carrier before accepting the shipment.
• If the damage is severe, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
• Take clear photos of the product, packaging, and any visible damage.
• Visible or concealed freight damage must be reported within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to inspect the shipment or report damage within the required timeframe may affect eligibility for repair, replacement, or claim support.

• Products with custom sizing, finishes, features, or design modifications are considered personalized.
• Personalized products are produced to your specifications and are non-returnable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged.

What cutout does the Videl multi function drawer need?

The Videl multi function drawer (VG-MFD) needs a cutout of 14.5" wide x 19" high x 16" deep, per Videl's spec sheet. The unit measures 16.5" wide x 20.75" high x about 16" deep, with a frame that overlaps the opening for a flush finish. Confirm the opening after your veneer is installed, since stone or tile adds thickness.

What fits in the Videl multi function drawer?

The Videl multi function drawer is designed for grilling tools, towels, spices and smaller outdoor accessories. At 16.5" wide, it is compact enough to fit beside a grill or refrigerator while adding enclosed storage. It is not a sealed cabinet, so avoid storing paper goods or electronics inside in rainy or humid climates.

Can I add the Videl multi function drawer to an existing BBQ island?

Yes, if your island has space for the 14.5" x 19" x 16" cutout, you can add the Videl multi function drawer to an existing island. This requires cutting the island face, which is easiest on cement board or metal frames and harder on block or stone. Hire an experienced installer for clean, level cuts.
