How to Choose a Cameo Sink and Faucet

Start with the sink width your cabinet and countertop allow. The 16" Diamond sink works as a bar or prep sink, the 23" suits compact islands, and the 30" and 32" single bowls or the 32" double bowl serve as a main sink. All single bowl Diamond sinks are 18" front to back with a 10" deep bowl; the 70/30 double bowl is 19" front to back.

Choose a single bowl if you wash large pans and grill grates, a 70/30 double bowl for one large bowl plus a prep bowl, or a 50/50 for two equal bowls. For the faucet, the CKF-200 pull-down has a 34" hose and a 90-degree forward handle for wall installations, while the CKF-100SS has a tall square spout with 12-1/2" spout height.

Undermount Diamond sinks also appear in Cameo's price book as suitable for drop-in installation, and every Diamond sink uses the same 3-1/2" drain opening, so any Cameo strainer or disposal flange fits. Cameo publishes a spec sheet for each single and double bowl size; we recommend sharing it with your countertop fabricator before the cutout is made.

Finish matters outdoors: Cameo rates its stainless steel faucets for outdoor use. If the sink is outside, choose the CKF-100SS or the CKF-200SS; the chrome and matte black CKF-200 finishes are intended for indoor kitchens.

If you prep a lot of produce or entertain often, a 70/30 double bowl keeps a clean prep bowl free while the larger side handles washing. A drinking water filter faucet next to the main faucet gives guests filtered water at the island when it is connected to an under-sink filtration system.

Plan water supply, drain and, where your climate requires it, winterizing with your installer before you order. Cameo sinks are sold without grids or strainers, so add a fitted grid and a 3-1/2" basket strainer; in most outdoor kitchens a strainer is used rather than a garbage disposal.
