The Cameo Space Saver garbage disposal is a continuous feed food waste disposer with a permanent-magnet DC motor, stainless steel grinding components and a full sound shell. It comes in four sizes: 1/3 HP (CWD-033S), 1/2 HP (CWD-050S), 3/4 HP (CWD-075S) and 1-1/4 HP (CWD-125S), all 120 V with an attached 34" power cord and plug.

The compact SpaceSaver design suits tight sink cabinets, and the 3-bolt mount eases change-outs on existing 3-bolt installations. Warranty grows with horsepower, from 5 years on the 1/3 HP to 12 years on the 1-1/4 HP, plus a lifetime corrosion warranty on every model.

Why Choose a Cameo Space Saver Garbage Disposal

Four power levels – 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 and 1-1/4 HP at 2400–2800 RPM.
WhisperGrind quiet operation – full sound shell insulation.
Stainless grinding parts – stainless grind ring, turntable and swivel impellers.
Plug-in, no hard wiring – attached 34" cord and plug.
Easy change-out – 3-bolt mount, removable splash guard, stainless sink flange included.
Dishwasher ready – dishwasher inlet connection.
Long warranty – 5 to 12 years in-home by HP, plus lifetime corrosion warranty.

Ideal for: Households replacing or adding a disposer in a compact sink cabinet, with power matched to how much they cook.

Which Horsepower Do I Need?

All four models share the same 29 oz hopper, continuous feed operation, stainless grinding components and 3-bolt mount. Higher horsepower brings a faster motor and a longer warranty.

CWD-033S 1/3 HP – 2400 RPM, 3 A, 8.8 lb, stamped stainless swivel impellers; 5-year limited in-home warranty.
CWD-050S 1/2 HP – 2600 RPM, 4.5 A, 9.4 lb, stamped stainless swivel impellers; 6-year limited in-home warranty.
CWD-075S 3/4 HP – 2700 RPM, 6 A, 11 lb, cast stainless swivel impellers; 10-year limited in-home warranty.
CWD-125S 1-1/4 HP – 2800 RPM, 7.5 A, 10.9 lb, cast stainless swivel impellers; 12-year limited in-home warranty.

Installation & What's Included

Each disposer includes a stainless steel sink flange, a stopper and a drain elbow kit, and comes with an attached 34" power cord and plug so no hard wiring is needed. It fits a standard 3-1/2" sink opening and has a manual-reset appliance protector.

For countertop on/off control without a wall switch, add the Cameo CAS-D dual outlet air switch. To match your faucet finish, Cameo's CDF disposal flanges in Polished Chrome or Brushed Nickel are compatible with all Cameo disposers. Cameo sinks for the disposer: Diamond single bowl and 32" double bowl.

Cameo Garbage Disposal: Horsepower, Install & Warranty FAQs

What warranty comes with a Cameo garbage disposal?

It depends on horsepower: 5 years for the 1/3 HP CWD-033S, 6 years for the 1/2 HP CWD-050S, 10 years for the 3/4 HP CWD-075S and 12 years for the 1-1/4 HP CWD-125S. Every model also has a lifetime corrosion warranty. Coverage is limited in-home for the original purchaser in residential use.

Do I need an electrician to wire it?

Every Cameo Space Saver disposer has an attached 34" power cord with plug, so it plugs into an outlet under the sink rather than being hard-wired. You can control it with a wall switch or the Cameo CAS-D air switch.
