RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Chic Home Deco, we partner with multiple premium U.S. and European brands to offer made-to-order, customized, and specialty home décor products. Because of this, return, refund, and cancellation eligibility varies by product and brand.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


1. IMPORTANT: PRODUCT-SPECIFIC TERMS APPLY

Return, refund, cancellation, and exchange eligibility is determined on a product-by-product basis.

Where a product page, manufacturer policy, or brand-specific terms differ from this general policy, the product-specific terms control and override this policy.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the return and refund terms disclosed on the applicable product page.


2. FINAL SALE / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or cancellation:

  • Personalized products

  • Customized products

  • Made-to-order products

  • Products produced based on customer-selected options

  • Clearance or final-sale items

  • Products expressly marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page

No Cancellation Policy

Once an order for a personalized, customized, or made-to-order product is placed:

  • It cannot be canceled

  • It cannot be modified

  • It cannot be returned or exchanged

Manufacturing or preparation begins promptly after an order is placed.


3. ELIGIBLE RETURNS (IF APPLICABLE)

If a product is eligible for return (as stated on the product page), all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Return request is submitted within the timeframe stated on the product page

  • Item is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

  • Item is returned in original packaging

  • All brand and manufacturer requirements are satisfied

Unauthorized returns or returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.


4. DAMAGES, DEFECTS & INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives with:

  • Visible damage

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Incorrect items

You must notify us within the inspection window specified on the product page or brand policy (often 24–48 hours from delivery).

To initiate a claim, you may be required to provide:

  • Photos or videos of the issue

  • Packaging images

  • Order number and delivery details

Failure to report issues within the stated timeframe may void eligibility for a remedy.


5. REFUNDS (IF APPROVED)

If a return or refund is approved in accordance with the applicable product-specific policy:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Original shipping, freight, handling, and delivery fees are non-refundable, unless required by law

  • Processing times vary based on the brand, manufacturer, and payment processor

We reserve the right to deduct:

  • Restocking fees (if applicable)

  • Damage or misuse costs

  • Non-recoverable shipping or handling expenses


6. SHIPPING COSTS & FREIGHT

Unless otherwise stated on the product page:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Freight returns may require coordination with the manufacturer or carrier

  • Refusal of delivery without authorization may result in additional fees or denial of a refund


7. BRAND & MANUFACTURER POLICIES

Many products sold on our Site are subject to manufacturer or brand-specific return policies, which may include:

  • No-return rules for made-to-order products

  • Strict inspection and reporting windows

  • Restocking or handling fees

These policies are disclosed on product pages or provided after purchase and are binding.


8. NON-RETURNABLE SITUATIONS

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Color, finish, or material variations inherent to the product

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper installation or use

  • Damage caused after delivery

  • Delays caused by carriers, manufacturers, or force majeure events
