Coronado Wood Grain Concrete Fire Pits

The Coronado fire pit gives you the warm, natural look of wood with none of the fire risk. Named after the Spanish word for "crowned," this rectangular gas fire pit is hand-cast in the USA from glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) and finished with a realistic wood-grain texture painted all the way through. The result is a wood grain concrete fire pit that pairs the character of timber with the durability of concrete — non-combustible, weatherproof, and built to last.

Coronado wood-grain finishes include Ivory, Ebony, and Oak, and each fire pit runs on natural gas or liquid propane through a 304 stainless steel burner producing up to about 90,000 BTU. Choose match lit or electronic ignition and a size to fit your space.

Coronado fire pit questions

Is the Coronado actually wood, or concrete?

It's concrete. The Coronado is built from glass fiber reinforced concrete with a wood-grain texture and finish, so it looks like weathered timber but is completely non-combustible. You get the wood aesthetic without the maintenance, warping, or fire concerns of a real wood surface near an open flame.

What wood-grain finishes are available?

The Coronado is offered in three wood-grain tones — Ivory, Ebony, and Oak — so you can match a light, dark, or natural-wood look to your outdoor palette. Because the color is cast through the GFRC, it won't peel or fade like a surface stain.

What sizes and heat output does it offer?

The Coronado rectangular fire pit comes in 48", 60", 72", and 84" lengths, with a 304 stainless steel burner producing up to roughly 90,000 BTU depending on size and configuration. Larger sizes also give you more usable ledge space around the flame.

Will the wood-grain finish hold up outdoors?

Yes. GFRC is designed for year-round outdoor exposure — it resists cracking, rust, and freeze-thaw damage, and handles sun and moisture well. The wood-grain finish is part of the material, not a coating, so it keeps its appearance far better than treated wood would.

Natural gas or propane — and which ignition?

The Coronado is available for either natural gas or liquid propane. For lighting, match lit is the simplest and needs no power, while electronic ignition adds convenience and auto-relight in wind. Pick based on whether you value simplicity or hands-free control.
