What Is an Outdoor Refrigerator?

An outdoor refrigerator is a compact refrigerator built and rated for exterior installation, usually undercounter in an outdoor kitchen island. It keeps drinks and ingredients next to the grill, so you are not running back to the house.

Inside: LED-lit graphite interior, stainless shelving, digital thermostat and automatic defrost. Right- or left-hinge door with key lock.
• ART-BC24-KIT handle & logo kit – the refrigerator ships without a handle; this kit adds a 17-3/4" stainless bar and Artisan logo.
• ARTP-IC drop-in ice bin – 2.7 cu ft (20.4 gallons), 1" insulation on all surfaces, removable lid and a standard 1" drain with cap.

• Outdoor Premium Refrigerator – engineered for exterior installation, with weather-resistant construction for heat and humidity.
• 4.5 cu ft Compact Refrigerator – 304 stainless steel construction and a 4.5 cu ft interior for beverages, marinades and produce.

How to Choose an Outdoor Refrigerator

• Capacity. The Artisan ART-BC24 holds 5.5 cu ft and the Videl compact 4.5 cu ft. Add the ARTP-IC ice bin when you need loose ice for a bar.
• Opening. The ART-BC24 fits a 24" W x 22-3/4" D x 32-3/4" H opening. Its front-bottom ventilation allows built-in installation.
• Power. The ART-BC24 needs a grounded 115V receptacle (2.0 A); a GFCI outlet is recommended.
• Door swing. Pick a right-hinge (ART-BC24) or left-hinge (ART-BC24-L) door to suit your layout.
• Ice bin. The ARTP-IC drops into a 22-1/4" W x 16-3/4" D countertop cutout. Plan a drain line for its 1" fitting.

Yes. It has front-bottom ventilation, so it can be built in or used freestanding. The opening is 24" W x 22-3/4" D x 32-3/4" H; 22-3/4" depth gives a flush door.

Does the Artisan outdoor refrigerator come with a handle?

No. The ART-BC24 ships without a handle. Add the ART-BC24-KIT handle and logo kit, which fits both right- and left-hinge models and installs with a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

What electrical outlet does an outdoor refrigerator need?

The Artisan ART-BC24 needs a grounded 115V, 60 Hz receptacle and draws 2.0 A. A GFCI outlet is recommended for outdoor use.

How much does the Artisan drop-in ice bin hold?

The ARTP-IC holds 2.7 cu ft, or 20.4 gallons. It has 1" of insulation on all surfaces and a standard 1" drain fitting with cap, and drops into a 22-1/4" W x 16-3/4" D cutout.
