Liquid Propane or Natural Gas? Choose at checkout

Liquid Propane (LP) connects to a standard 20 lb propane tank — the same cylinder used for most gas grills. The tank is not included but is available at any hardware store. The pressure regulator and hose are included with the fire pit. LP gives you full flexibility in placement since no permanent gas line is needed.

Natural Gas (NG) connects directly to your home's gas supply line. No tank refills needed — the flame runs as long as your gas is on. Requires a permanent gas line and a licensed contractor for connection. If you don't currently have a gas line near your intended location, factor in the cost of running one.

Not sure which you have? Check your outdoor grill or existing gas appliances. LP uses a portable cylinder; NG connects to a fixed pipe from the wall or ground.

Installation Requirements Licensed contractor needed for NG

Liquid Propane: Connect the included regulator and hose to a 20 lb propane cylinder. Perform a leak test before first use. No professional installation required.

Natural Gas: Connection must be performed by a licensed contractor or local gas company representative. Installation must conform to the National Fuel Gas Code (ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54). A conveniently accessible shut-off valve is required — it must not be located inside the appliance enclosure.

Low Voltage Electronic Ignition: Requires a 30V DC transformer, which must be hardwired by a licensed electrician in addition to the gas connection.

Plug & Play ignition: Connects to a standard 120V outdoor outlet — no electrician needed beyond the gas connection.

Clearance & Placement Outdoor use only

These fire pits are designed for outdoor use only. Never install in a garage, shed, breezeway, or any enclosed or semi-enclosed structure.

Overhead clearance: Maintain sufficient distance from any overhead combustible material such as a patio cover or pergola. Do not place under or near windows or vents that open into the home.

Side clearance: Keep clear of trees, shrubs, and all combustible materials. Do not block the ventilation openings near the base of the unit.

Surface: Place on a stable, level, non-combustible surface. The area around the fire pit must be kept free of flammable liquids and materials.

Wind: Do not operate in windy conditions. If your location is consistently exposed to wind, a windscreen will be required.

Before You Light Important setup notes

Always perform a leak test before first use and after any reconnection of gas lines.

Propane tank not included for LP models. You will need a standard 20 lb cylinder (approx. 12" diameter × 18" tall, max 5 gallons / 20 lbs).

Not for cooking. Do not use the fire pit to heat food or beverages.

Surfaces get hot. Do not touch the lava rock, fire screen, or surrounding surfaces while in use or until fully cooled.

If you smell gas: shut off the gas supply immediately, extinguish any open flame, and move away from the unit before calling your gas supplier or fire department.

Made-to-Order Products

Each piece is custom manufactured based on the specifications selected at checkout. Orders cannot be canceled or modified once production begins.

All sales are final. Returns and exchanges are not accepted for made-to-order items. By placing your order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Limited Defect Coverage

If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or production error, notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery and provide:

Clear photos of the issue
Your order number
A description of the defect

If approved, we will arrange for repair or replacement at our discretion. Does not cover natural material variation, corten steel patina development, or issues from misuse or normal wear.

Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong size or model, notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery with photos, your order number, and retain all packaging materials. Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
