Installation, Cutout & Fuel Planning

Order the ART-36 as LP or NG to match your gas supply. Artisan requires installation by a qualified professional; the island must be built from non-combustible materials unless you use the matching insulated jacket.

• Grill cutout – 34-1/2" W x 19-3/4" D x 9-1/2" H, with a 7/8" bullnose notch each side and a 5-3/4" recommended rear setback
• Combustible enclosures – install with the Artisan insulated jacket ART-IJ36 (jacket cutout 37-1/4" W x 23-5/8" D x 10-1/4" H)
• Clearances – minimum 12" from the sides and 12" from the back to combustible construction
• Gas – NG: 1/2" NPT at 5" W.C.; LP: 3/8" ODF at 10" W.C. (portable tank) or 1/2" NPT at 10" W.C. (whole-house LP)
• Power – Needs a 115 VAC, 1-phase, 60 Hz outlet for the electronic ignition and halogen lights.
• Fuel conversion – Artisan conversion kits 190-0079 (NG to LP) / 190-0084 (LP to NG) are listed for this grill
