The Artisan ART-SB1 is a drop-in single side burner with a brass burner and a hinged stainless steel cover, made to sit next to an Artisan grill. It needs an 11" W x 15" D countertop cutout and uses AA-battery push-button ignition, so no outlet is required.

Use it in an outdoor kitchen island for sauces and sides, or on a freestanding Artisan cart with the ARTC-SBM-01 shelf mount. It is supplied with 42" of 3/8" flexible stainless piping and a tee to connect to the gas supply of the adjacent Artisan grill.

Installation, Cutout & Fuel Planning

Overall size is 12-3/8" W x 16-1/8" D. The hinged cover opens to 107 degrees and reaches 16-3/16" high, so leave room above the burner. Order LP or NG to match your grill; the burner tees into the grill's gas supply with the included 42" flexible piping.

What cutout does the Artisan ART-SB1 need?

The ART-SB1 needs an 11" W x 15" D cutout with a 1-1/2" minimum setback. The burner measures 12-3/8" W x 16-1/8" D and sits 1-9/16" below the counter.

Does the ART-SB1 need electricity?

No. It uses push-button ignition powered by an AA battery (1.5 VDC), so no outlet is needed at the side burner.

Can I use the ART-SB1 on an Artisan cart grill?

Yes. The ARTC-SBM-01 shelf mount replaces one side shelf of an Artisan cart to hold the ART-SB1, and it fits all Artisan cart models. The burner tees into the grill's gas supply with its 42" flexible stainless piping.
