The Artisan ART-ISB is a 20,000 BTU Sear Zone infrared burner with a 100% combusting ceramic surface that replaces one standard U-burner in an Artisan grill. It installs in the left, center or right burner position and comes with its own dual-tip sear burner electrode.
Add it to sear steaks and chops at high heat while the other burners stay on regular grilling. Pair it with the Artisan ASZG Sear Zone grate, the V-shaped grate made for the infrared burner.

Installation & Compatibility
Artisan's installation sheet for the ART-ISB applies to 32" and 36" Artisan grills. Remove the grate and briquette tray, lift out the U-burner, connect the ignition wire to the new dual-tip electrode (1/8" spark gap), then seat the sear burner. Disconnect 110V power to the grill before servicing. For other grill sizes, contact us to confirm the correct part before ordering.

Is the ART-ISB hard to install?
No. You remove the grate, briquette tray and U-burner, connect the ignition wire to the included dual-tip electrode, and set the sear burner in place. Disconnect the grill's 110V power first.
