WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS

• This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that result in the product failing to operate under normal residential use and when used according to the product instructions and safety guidelines.

• Normal wear and tear.

Yes, the Planika Pyramid has the highest safety spec in Planika's heater lineup in our store: a thermocouple flame-failure sensor shuts off the gas if the flame goes out, and an anti-tilt sensor shuts it off if the heater is knocked over. The flame burns inside a tempered glass tube on a powder-coated galvanized steel body. Adult supervision is still needed around any open flame, and the Pyramid is for outdoor or partially covered, well-ventilated spaces only.

The Planika Pyramid warms the people closest to it, not a whole open patio: it produces up to 28,000 BTU/h (8.2 kW), adjustable, with warmth felt about 2 to 4 feet from the unit. It is designed for close seating and dramatic flame ambience, such as a conversation area, lounge corner or beside outdoor dining. Its 58.9" pyramid-shaped tower makes it a natural focal point for homes, cafes and hospitality patios. For more reach, the Planika Lighthouse is the stronger option.

A full 20 lb propane tank lasts about 18 to 22 hours in the Planika Pyramid at a higher flame and up to about 45 hours on low, using up to 1.10 lb per hour. The tank hides inside the base. Although the Pyramid weighs 62 lb, integrated wheels and grip handles let one person reposition it, and a protective waterproof cover is included for storage between uses. It comes in Jet Black or Silk Gray and carries a 2-year limited warranty from delivery.
