Falmec Zeus Outdoor Wall Mount Range Hood, 1200 CFM

The Falmec Zeus Outdoor is a pro-style wall mount outdoor range hood with an 18" tall box body and 1200 CFM of airflow from two internal 600 CFM motors. It comes in 36", 42" and 48" widths (models FOZEU36W12OS, FOZEU42W12OS and FOZEU48W12OS), all 31-1/2" deep, in AISI 304 Scotch-Brite stainless steel.

Install it on its own at 18" tall, or add the full-width Zeus Outdoor chimney kit (sold separately) for a 49-1/2" overall height as drawn by Falmec. It is made for covered outdoor kitchens; Falmec's manual says not to expose the hood to rain or wind, so mount it under a solid roof.

Why Choose the Falmec Zeus Outdoor Range Hood

• 1200 CFM dual-motor power – two internal 600 CFM motors move a combined 1200 CFM of smoke and grease
• Two looks, one hood – 18" tall on its own, or 49-1/2" with the optional full-width chimney kit
• AISI 304 stainless steel – Scotch-Brite brushed finish with hand-polished seams and welds
• Professional baffle filters – stainless steel, removable and dishwasher safe
• Simple mechanical knobs – 4 fan speeds on one knob, LED light on a separate knob
• Warm 3000K LED strip – lights the grill surface for evening cooking
• Three widths – 36", 42" or 48", all 31-1/2" deep

Ideal for: Outdoor cooks who want a bold, pro-style 1200 CFM box hood for a covered patio, pergola or loggia kitchen, with or without a chimney.

Choose Your Width

All three sizes share the same 1200 CFM dual motor, controls, lighting, 18" height and 31-1/2" depth. Pick the width that fits your grill and cooking zone.

• 36" – FOZEU36W12OS, 35-15/16" actual width, 83 lb; chimney kit KCPHN.001
• 42" – FOZEU42W12OS, 41-5/8" actual width, 96 lb; chimney kit KCPHN.002
• 48" – FOZEU48W12OS, 47-15/16" actual width, 104 lb; chimney kit KCPHN.003

With or Without a Chimney

The chimney is not included with the Zeus Outdoor. Without it, the hood is 18" tall and the duct is exposed above the hood or hidden in your ceiling or wall build-out.

For a finished, full-width look, add the matching stainless Zeus Outdoor chimney kit. Its two sections (11-13/16" and 19-11/16") give a maximum chimney height of 31-1/2", for a 49-1/2" overall height as shown in Falmec's drawings. Order the kit in the same width as your hood. Some photos on this page show the hood with the optional chimney.

Installation: Cover, Ducting, Height & Power

Important: Falmec's manual says not to expose the hood to rain or wind and not to install it in places without a cover. Plan it under a solid roof, such as a covered patio, loggia, pavilion or roofed pergola.

Have a qualified installer plan the duct route and wall fixing before the hood arrives. The key numbers from Falmec's documents:

• Mounting height – 24" to 35" from the cooking surface to the bottom of the hood (recommended)
• Duct – ducted only, 9-7/8" round top outlet, metal ductwork required; duct center 11-1/16" from the wall
• Power – 110–120V, 60Hz, 680 W max; 5 ft cord with grounded plug (no extension cords)
• Wall fixing – a masonry-wall fixing kit is supplied; for other wall types your installer must assess the fixing

Four Speeds for Every Kind of Cook

The motor knob has four settings, as described in Falmec's manual. A separate knob switches the 3000K LED strip on and off.

• Speed 1 – low, for air renewal
• Speed 2 – normal cooking
• Speed 3 – strong odors and heavier smoke
• Speed 4 – rapid extraction for searing and peak smoke
