Falmec Pyramid Outdoor Wall Mount Range Hood, 1200 CFM

The Falmec Pyramid Outdoor is a wall mount outdoor range hood with a classic pyramid canopy and 1200 CFM of airflow from two internal 600 CFM motors. It comes in 36", 42" and 48" widths (models FOPYR36W12OS, FOPYR42W12OS and FOPYR48W12OS), all 31-1/2" deep with an 18" tall hood body, in AISI 304 Scotch-Brite stainless steel.

It is made for covered outdoor kitchens: a loggia, covered patio, pavilion or roofed pergola with a wall behind the grill. Falmec's manual says not to expose the hood to rain or wind, so it belongs under a solid roof, not in the open.

Why Choose the Falmec Pyramid Outdoor Range Hood

• 1200 CFM dual-motor power – two internal 600 CFM motors move a combined 1200 CFM of smoke and grease
• Classic canopy shape – an 18" pyramid hood body with a 4-1/2" front band
• AISI 304 stainless steel – Scotch-Brite brushed finish with hand-polished seams and welds
• Professional baffle filters – stainless steel, removable and dishwasher safe
• Simple mechanical knobs – 4 fan speeds on one knob, LED light on a separate knob
• Warm 3000K LED strip – lights the grill surface for evening cooking
• Three widths – 36", 42" or 48", all 31-1/2" deep

Ideal for: Homeowners who want a traditional canopy-style 1200 CFM hood over the grill in a covered patio, loggia or pavilion kitchen.

Choose Your Width

All three sizes share the same 1200 CFM dual motor, controls, lighting, 18" hood body and 31-1/2" depth. Pick the width that fits your grill and cooking zone.

• 36" – FOPYR36W12OS, 35-15/16" actual width, 91 lb
• 42" – FOPYR42W12OS, 41-5/8" actual width, 103 lb
• 48" – FOPYR48W12OS, 47-15/16" actual width, 108 lb

Installation: Cover, Ducting, Height & Power

Important: Falmec's manual says not to expose the hood to rain or wind and not to install it in places without a cover. Plan it under a solid roof, such as a covered patio, loggia, pavilion or roofed pergola.

Have a qualified installer plan the duct route and wall fixing before the hood arrives. The key numbers from Falmec's documents:

• Mounting height – 24" to 35" from the cooking surface to the bottom of the hood (recommended)
• Duct – ducted only, 9-7/8" round top outlet, metal ductwork required; duct center 11-1/16" from the wall
• Power – 110–120V, 60Hz, 680 W max; 5 ft cord with grounded plug (no extension cords)
• Wall fixing – a masonry-wall fixing kit is supplied; for other wall types your installer must assess the fixing

Four Speeds for Every Kind of Cook

The motor knob has four settings, as described in Falmec's manual. A separate knob switches the 3000K LED strip on and off.

• Speed 1 – low, for air renewal
• Speed 2 – normal cooking
• Speed 3 – strong odors and heavier smoke
• Speed 4 – rapid extraction for searing and peak smoke
