Falmec Line Outdoor Wall Mount Range Hood, 1200 CFM

The Falmec Line Outdoor is a wall mount outdoor range hood with an ultra-slim 4-3/4" stainless hood body and 1200 CFM of airflow from two internal 600 CFM motors. It comes in 36", 42" and 48" widths (models FOLIN36W12OS, FOLIN42W12OS and FOLIN48W12OS), all 31-1/2" deep, in AISI 304 Scotch-Brite stainless steel.

It is made for covered outdoor kitchens: a loggia, covered patio, pavilion or roofed pergola with a wall behind the grill. Falmec's manual says not to expose the hood to rain or wind, so it belongs under a solid roof, not in the open.

Installation: Cover, Ducting, Height & Power

Important: Falmec's manual says not to expose the hood to rain or wind and not to install it in places without a cover. Plan it under a solid roof, such as a covered patio, loggia, pavilion or roofed pergola.

Have a qualified installer plan the duct route and wall fixing before the hood arrives. The key numbers from Falmec's documents:

• Mounting height – 24" to 35" from the cooking surface to the bottom of the hood (recommended)
• Duct – ducted only, 9-7/8" round top outlet, metal ductwork required; duct center 10-1/2" from the wall
• Power – 110–120V, 60Hz, 680 W max; 5 ft cord with grounded plug (no extension cords)
• Wall fixing – a masonry-wall fixing kit is supplied; for other wall types your installer must assess the fixing

Four Speeds for Every Kind of Cook

The motor knob has four settings, as described in Falmec's manual. A separate knob switches the 3000K LED strip on and off.

• Speed 1 – low, for air renewal
• Speed 2 – normal cooking
• Speed 3 – strong odors and heavier smoke
• Speed 4 – rapid extraction for searing and peak smoke
