Why so little smoke? Secondary combustion
Smokeless fire pits use a secondary combustion design — small vents near the top of the bowl preheat air and inject it above the primary flame. This reignites unburned smoke particles before they escape, producing a cleaner, more complete burn with dramatically less visible smoke.
Result: A brighter, hotter flame with minimal smoke output compared to a standard open fire pit.
What fuel do they use? Wood only
These fire pits burn dry hardwood only — kiln-dried firewood works best. Avoid treated, painted, or green wood as these produce excess smoke and harmful emissions that defeat the smokeless design.
Best wood: Oak, hickory, ash, or any dry hardwood split into pieces that fit inside the bowl. Softwoods like pine burn faster and produce more resin.
How do I start the fire? No ignition system
No ignition system is built in — you light the fire manually using a fire starter, newspaper, or kindling placed at the base of the wood stack. The smokeless effect kicks in once the fire reaches a high enough temperature, typically within 10–15 minutes of lighting.
Tip: Start with smaller pieces of kindling to build temperature quickly before adding larger logs.

Corten Steel develops a natural rust-orange patina over time through exposure to weather. This patina is a protective layer — it stabilises and does not continue to corrode through. The aged look deepens with time and is considered part of the aesthetic. No painting or sealing required.
Stainless Steel maintains its silver metallic appearance and does not develop a patina. It is more resistant to staining and easier to clean. Better suited for coastal environments or buyers who prefer a consistently modern appearance.

No installation required. These are freestanding sculptures — place on a stable, non-combustible surface outdoors and they are ready to use. No gas lines, no electrical connections, no contractor needed.
Note: Ensure the surface is level and stable. Do not place on decking, grass, or any surface that could be damaged by heat from the base.

Installation Requirements No installation needed
No installation required whatsoever. These are fully freestanding sculptures — no gas lines, no electrical connections, no contractor or permit needed.
Place on a stable, non-combustible surface outdoors and the piece is ready to use immediately upon delivery. The only requirement is a safe outdoor location with adequate clearance from combustible materials.
Clearance & Placement Outdoor use only
Designed for outdoor use only. Never use in a garage, shed, breezeway, or any enclosed or semi-enclosed space — these are open-flame wood-burning pieces and require adequate ventilation.
Overhead clearance: Maintain a minimum of 10 feet of clearance from any overhead structure, pergola, or combustible material. Open-sky placement is ideal.
Side clearance: Keep at least 3 feet of clearance from furniture, fencing, trees, shrubs, and all combustible materials on all sides.
Surface: Place on a stable, level, non-combustible surface — stone pavers, concrete, brick, or gravel. Do not place directly on wood decking, grass, or any surface that could be damaged by radiated heat from the base.
Wind: Despite the smokeless design, avoid use in strong wind conditions. The secondary combustion effect is most effective in calm air.
Before You Light Important setup notes
Use only dry hardwood. Wet or green wood will produce heavy smoke and reduce the effectiveness of the smokeless design.
Not for cooking. Do not use to heat food or beverages.
Surfaces get hot. The bowl, sides, and base reach high temperatures during use and remain hot for some time after the fire dies down. Keep children and pets away.
Corten steel patina: New corten steel pieces will begin developing their natural rust-orange patina after the first few uses and weather exposures. This is expected and is part of the material's character — it is not a defect.
Ash removal: Allow the piece to cool completely before removing ash. Clean ash buildup periodically to maintain airflow through the base vents.

Made-to-Order Products
Each piece is custom manufactured based on the specifications selected at checkout. Orders cannot be canceled or modified once production begins.
All sales are final. Returns and exchanges are not accepted for made-to-order items. By placing your order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Limited Defect Coverage
If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or production error, notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery and provide:
- Clear photos of the issue
- Your order number
- A description of the defect
If approved, we will arrange for repair or replacement at our discretion. Does not cover natural material variation, corten steel patina development, or issues from misuse or normal wear.
Incorrect Items
If you receive the wrong size or model, notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery with photos, your order number, and retain all packaging materials. Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
Freight & Delivery Damage
Inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.

Concealed damage must also be reported within 24–48 hours. Failure to follow these steps may void eligibility for replacement.

- Natural corten steel patina development — this is expected and desirable
- Color or texture variation due to material nature or screen display
- Damage from outdoor weather exposure beyond normal use
- Third-party modifications
- Normal wear and tear
