For the Faro outdoor gas fireplace, you can use a standard propane tank up to 20 lb.
A 20 lb propane tank is the most common choice in the U.S. and gives you a longer burn time.
The propane tank is placed inside the lower compartment. Always make sure the tank is stable and properly connected before use.

Planika outdoor fireplaces and heaters sold by Chic Home Deco include a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery.
What this limited warranty covers
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that result in the product failing to operate under normal residential use and when used according to the product instructions and safety guidelines.
Applicable products
This warranty applies to all Planika outdoor fireplaces and heaters sold by Chic Home Deco, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Conditions to keep the warranty valid
- The product must be installed, operated, and maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- The product must be used only for its intended outdoor purpose.
- The product must be connected only to compatible fuel sources and approved accessories.
- The product must be protected and maintained with reasonable care.
What this limited warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic issues, minor scratches, dents, discoloration, or surface imperfections that do not affect safe operation.
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
- Damage caused by failure to follow the product instructions or safety guidelines.
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme weather, corrosive environments, salt air, flooding, or other environmental conditions outside normal use.
- Damage caused by improper storage, inadequate maintenance, or commercial overuse.
- Damage to glass or finishes unless caused by a manufacturing defect.

Planika Faro — questions before you buy
What fuel does the Planika Faro use, and which tank do I need?
Faro runs on liquid propane (LP). It uses a standard 20 lb (5-gallon) tank — the same one used for a gas grill — which stores out of sight inside the base. The US-spec regulator and hose are included; the tank itself is not.
How much area does the Faro heat? Can it replace a patio heater?
Faro puts out up to 27,300 BTU/h and you feel the warmth roughly 2–4 ft from the unit. It is designed ambience-first: ideal for a lounge corner, dining table or entrance where people sit close by. If you need to heat a whole open patio, a tall mushroom-style heater (or two Faros) is the better choice.
How long does a 20 lb propane tank last?
About 18 hours at full flame and up to about 45 hours on the low setting, depending on wind and temperature.
Do I need a gas line, a permit or a professional installer?
No. Faro is freestanding and portable. You attach the casters and glass wind shields in about 10 minutes, connect a 20 lb tank with the included regulator and hose, and light it with the built-in piezo igniter (no batteries). No flue, no gas line and no structural changes.
Can I use it on a covered patio or porch?
Faro is for outdoor use only. It can be used in partially covered outdoor spaces with good airflow (for example a pergola or a porch open on several sides). Never use it indoors, in a garage or in a fully enclosed space.
How fast is delivery, and is shipping really free?
Shipping to the lower 48 states is free. Faro ships from our New Jersey warehouse within 1–2 business days and you receive tracking by email at dispatch. Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days after that.
What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the box on delivery and email mike@chichomedeco.com within 72 hours with your order number and photos. Once confirmed, we arrange replacement parts or a replacement unit.
What warranty do I get?
