The Refuge Series is Flame Havens' line of handcrafted GFRC concrete fire pits. Each piece has a smooth, grain-like surface, so slight variation in tone is normal and makes every fire pit one of a kind. The long, architectural rectangle lines up with a sofa or sectional and gives a wide ribbon of flame that reads well from across the yard. Choose Graphite Black for a bold, modern look, Natural Gray for a soft stone feel, or Ivory White for a bright, clean finish. Black reflective fire glass, a fitted canvas cover and a concrete care kit are included, so it is ready to use out of the box. Want a sleeker look when the fire is off? Add the matching 33" x 11" stainless steel burner cover, which turns the burner area into a flat tabletop, or the 36" x 14" tempered glass wind guard to steady the flame on breezy nights.

Shipped on a pallet by freight truck (LTL freight — not UPS or FedEx) and wrapped for transport.
Delivery appointment. The carrier contacts you to set a delivery window, so someone can be home.
Curbside delivery. The driver delivers to your curb or driveway. Plan for two people to move it to its final spot.

Arrived damaged? We make it right

Warranty & Order Policy

In-Stock Product

This fire pit is an in-stock item that ships from the US, usually within 3-5 business days. Orders can be canceled free of charge until the order has shipped.

1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty

Flame Havens covers this fire pit with a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If something goes wrong, contact us with your order number, photos and a short description, and we will handle the claim with Flame Havens for you.

The warranty does not cover natural variation in GFRC color and texture, improper installation, use of the wrong fuel type, misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear. Installation and gas connections must be done by a licensed gas professional.

Returns

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus the original and return freight costs. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can arrange the pickup.

Freight & Delivery Damage

This fire pit ships by LTL freight with curbside delivery. Please inspect the crate when it arrives.
- If there is visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos.
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery, including for concealed damage found after unpacking.

Following these steps lets us replace damaged items quickly.

Do I need a gas line for the Refuge 56" x 30" natural gas fire pit?

Yes. This model runs on natural gas and connects to a 1/2" gas line with the included quick-disconnect hose. Flame Havens requires installation and gas connection by a licensed gas professional. If you do not have a gas line at the patio, the propane version of this fire pit hides a 20 lb tank in a drawer instead.

Where can I place it, and can it go under a covered patio?

It is for outdoor use only, on a stable, level, non-combustible surface such as pavers, concrete or stone. Keep 48" of clearance from anything combustible on all sides and at least 60" overhead, measured from the top of the fire pit. Local codes come first, so check with your installer for covered spaces.

How many people fit around the 56" x 30" Refuge?
