The Artisan Professional 18" propane tank drawer (our SKU ARTP-LPTDR-18SC; Artisan's spec sheet lists it as ARTP-18LPTDR-SC) is a 304 stainless steel pull-out drawer that holds a standard 20 lb LP tank inside an outdoor kitchen island. It has full-length soft-close ball-bearing slides, an LP tank regulator safety lanyard and needs a 15-1/4" W x 21-3/8" H cutout.

It keeps the tank hidden yet easy to swap, which suits islands built around a propane (LP) Artisan grill. The LP tank is not included.

Why Choose the Artisan Professional Propane Tank Drawer

  • Fits a 20 lb tank – sized for a standard 20 lb LP tank (not included).
  • Easy tank swaps – full-length soft-close ball-bearing slides with a 17-3/4" maximum opening.
  • Safety lanyard – includes an LP tank regulator safety lanyard.
  • 304 stainless steel – for long life and easy maintenance outdoors.
  • Matching design – 17-1/2" W x 24" H face styled to match Artisan grills and access doors.

Ideal for: Islands with a propane-fueled Artisan grill or burner that need a tidy, accessible home for a 20 lb LP tank.

Cutout, Installation & Ventilation

Frame a 15-1/4" W x 21-3/8" H opening. The face is 17-1/2" W x 24" H and the drawer body is 14-7/8" W x 18-7/8" D.

LP tank enclosures must be ventilated. Artisan refers installers to ANSI Z21.58 clause 4.6 ventilation requirements, covered in the Artisan grill manual. Have a qualified installer confirm the enclosure meets these requirements and local codes.

Build a Complete Artisan Outdoor Kitchen

Pair the tank drawer with an LP-fueled grill such as the Artisan Professional 36" built-in grill, plus double access doors and a trash center. Browse all Artisan grills and components, or see Haven modular outdoor kitchens.
