Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Wilshire Chair FAQ

Is assembly required?

Yes. Review the included instructions before assembly or use.

Are cushions included?

No. The product title and order confirmation govern what is included.

How should I compare this model?

Compared with chairs that include seat cushions, the Wilshire is sold without a cushion, giving you the flexibility to choose a separate cushion style. Its 19-inch width and 23.5-inch depth are useful measurements to compare with your table and available space.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Wilshire Teak Dining Chair CHD-113: Fit, Assembly & Care

How many Wilshire teak chairs fit around my table?

The armless Anderson Teak Wilshire Chair (CHD-113) is 19" wide and 23.5" deep, so plan about 22" to 24" of table edge per chair. For example, a 72" table side usually fits three comfortably. Its high 39.5" back gives good support while its narrow footprint fits more seats than an armchair. Each chair seats one person with an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb.

Should I pick the Wilshire chair or the Wilshire armchair?

Choose the Wilshire Chair (CHD-113) if you need to fit more seats or tuck chairs fully under the table; it is 19" wide and armless. The Wilshire Armchair (CHD-114) is 23" wide with arms for extra comfort, often used at table ends. Both are 39.5" high and 23.5" deep, weigh 30 lb, and share the same honey golden brown teak finish, so they mix well.

Does the Anderson Teak Wilshire chair arrive assembled?

No, the Wilshire Chair requires assembly, and a cushion is not included. It weighs 30 lb and ships by small parcel to your door. In-stock orders are usually processed in 2–3 business days, then delivered in about 5–7 business days. After assembly, re-tighten the hardware after a few weeks outdoors as the teak settles, and check it at the start of each season.
