Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Orders are processed in 2–3 business days, with delivery about 5–7 business days after processing. Smaller items ship to your door by ground service; large furniture ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway on a scheduled appointment.

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Wall Mount Folding Teak Chair I: Weight, Mounting & Wet Areas

How much weight can the Anderson Teak wall mount folding chair I hold?

The Anderson Teak Wall Mount Folding Chair I (CHF-431WS) supports a maximum of 500 lb, provided it is anchored securely to a solid wall. The rating depends on the mounting, so fasten the stainless steel brackets into studs, masonry or blocking rather than drywall alone. An automatic lock bracket holds the seat open during use until you press the release lever, and it folds flat to 7.5" deep when not in use.

Can I install the teak wall mount folding chair in a shower or sauna?

Yes, the Wall Mount Folding Chair I is listed as suitable for shower rooms, sauna rooms, balconies, boats and cafés, indoors or out. It is made from kiln-dried A-grade teak, which is naturally rich in oils, with stainless steel brackets. In a wet room, rinse off soap residue and let it dry between uses. Teak exposed to water and light will mellow in color over time, which is cosmetic.

Does the wall mount folding chair I come assembled?

Yes, the Wall Mount Folding Chair I arrives assembled; you only need to attach the mount to the wall. Choose fasteners suited to your wall type and anchor into solid structure, since the seat is rated for 500 lb when properly installed. Check that 17" of width and 14" of fold-out depth fit your space. It weighs 15 lb and ships by small parcel, and no cushion is included.
