Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Smyrna 92.5" Solid Teak Dining Table DS-857: What to Know

How many people can sit at the Anderson Teak Smyrna 92.5 inch dining table?

The Smyrna 92.5" Dining Table (DS-857) seats six comfortably, as sold in the Smyrna 7-Piece set with six armchairs. With compact armless chairs you may fit eight, but that is our estimate rather than a manufacturer rating. The table measures 92.5" long by 39" deep at a 30" dining height and has a modern top of large, wide solid teak slats.

How much space does the Smyrna 92.5 inch teak table need?

The Smyrna Dining Table itself is 92.5" by 39", but plan for about 3 feet of clearance on all sides for chairs and walking room, roughly a 13.5 by 9.5 foot area. The table weighs 160 lb and ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway by appointment. Assembly is required, and inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after ordering.

Does the Smyrna solid teak dining table need maintenance?

Very little. The Smyrna table is solid teak with a natural, smooth, well-sanded finish and is designed for outdoor use. If left untreated, the honey golden brown color weathers to silver-gray over months, which is purely cosmetic. To keep the golden tone, clean with mild soap and a soft brush and apply teak oil or sealer periodically. Avoid high-pressure washing, and wipe spills promptly.
