Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Smyrna 57" Teak Coffee Table DS-855: Size, Weather & Care FAQs

Is the Anderson Teak Smyrna coffee table the right height for deep seating?

Yes, the Smyrna Coffee Table (DS-855) stands a low 15" high, which matches the 15" seat height of Smyrna deep seating sofas and lounge chairs. Its broad 57" by 35.5" top of large, wide teak slats gives plenty of room for drinks, trays and decor. It pairs with the Smyrna 4-Seat Sofa and Lounge Armchairs as part of the SET-851 deep seating set.

Does the Smyrna coffee table need to be assembled?

No, the Smyrna Coffee Table arrives fully assembled, so it is ready to place as soon as it is unpacked. It weighs 68 lb and ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway by appointment, so plan for two people to carry it to the patio. Inspect it before signing for delivery and photograph any damage.

Can the Smyrna teak coffee table stay outside year-round?

Yes, the Smyrna Coffee Table is solid A-Grade teak and listed as weather resistant for outdoor use. Over months outdoors, its honey golden brown finish weathers to a silver-gray patina that does not affect strength; teak oil or sealer keeps the warm tone. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush. A cover in winter helps keep the slats cleaner and reduces surface checking.
