Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Royal Steamer Teak Lounge Armchair ST-124: What to Know

Does the Anderson Teak Royal Steamer Armchair come assembled?

Yes, the Royal Steamer Armchair (ST-124) arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to put together. It is a one-seat teak steamer lounger designed for reclining and putting your feet up, measuring 23" wide, 46" deep and 36" high. At 45 lb it ships by small parcel to your door, and the package contains one ST-124 chair.

How much space does the Royal Steamer Armchair need, and how much weight does it hold?

The Royal Steamer Armchair has a 23" by 46" footprint, much longer than a standard armchair because of its extended leg section, so it fits along a pool edge, a deck railing or a garden path. Its estimated weight capacity is 250 lb. Two steamers side by side need just under 4 feet of width, with extra space if you add a small side table.

Are cushions available for the Royal Steamer Armchair?

A cushion is not included with the Royal Steamer Armchair, but optional cushions are available in Natural, Cast Slate, Linen Antique Beige and Cast Charcoal. The teak frame has a smooth, well-sanded natural finish in honey golden brown that weathers to silver-gray outdoors unless oiled or sealed. It is covered by a 2-year warranty.
