Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Riviera 60" Teak Daybed DS-609: Size, Comfort & Care Questions

How low is the Anderson Teak Riviera 60 inch Daybed, and how many can sit on it?

The Riviera 60 Inch Daybed (DS-609) seats two, with a low frame just 11" high and a 17" seat height once the included cushion is in place. It measures 60" wide by 29" deep. That makes it more of a backless bench-style lounger than a full-length sun bed, so it works well at the foot of a sectional, under a window or on a covered porch.

Can the Riviera 60" Daybed be used indoors and outdoors?

Yes, the Riviera 60 Inch Daybed is designed for indoor or outdoor use in residential and commercial settings, including covered outdoor areas. It is made from kiln-dried, A-grade teak with a well-sanded natural finish in honey golden brown. Outdoors the teak weathers to silver-gray unless you apply teak oil or sealer. Store the cushion dry during long wet spells.

Is the Riviera 60" Daybed difficult to assemble?

No, the Riviera 60 Inch Daybed arrives in a flat carton box and needs only light assembly. It weighs 55 lb and ships by LTL freight with curbside or driveway delivery by appointment. One cushion is included. If you need a longer version, the Riviera 72 Inch Daybed (DS-610) has the same 29" depth and 11" height but is 72" wide.
