Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Palermo 89" Teak Deep Seating Sofa DS-323: What to Know

Does the Anderson Teak Palermo Deep Seating Sofa seat three adults comfortably?

Yes, the Palermo Deep Seating Sofa (DS-323) is a three-seat sofa measuring 89" wide, 31.75" deep and 23.5" high. The included 6" Sunbrella cushions give a 16" seat height. For a full Palermo arrangement, add two Palermo armchairs and the 48" rectangular coffee table, which is the combination sold as the Palermo 4-Piece Deep Seating Set for five people.

Will the Palermo sofa's Sunbrella cushions mildew or fade outside?

The Palermo sofa's cushions use Sunbrella fabric that is water repellent and designed to help prevent mildew and fading, which makes them suited to outdoor use. Water-repellent is not waterproof, so after heavy rain stand the cushions on edge to drain, and store them dry or cover the sofa over winter. The A-grade teak frame weathers to silver-gray unless you oil or seal it.

How heavy is the Palermo sofa, and does it require assembly?

The Palermo Deep Seating Sofa weighs 82 lb and requires assembly. It ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway by appointment, so have a second person on hand to unpack it and carry the frame and cushions into place. Inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after ordering. Anderson Teak covers the sofa with a 2-year limited residential warranty against manufacturing defects.
