Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Neoclassical Demilune Mahogany Console: What to Know Before Buying

Can the Anderson Teak Neoclassical Demilune Console be used outdoors or on a covered porch?

No, the Neoclassical Demilune Console (HT-101) is intended for indoor use only. Unlike Anderson Teak's outdoor teak pieces, it is made from solid mahogany with a natural, smooth, well-sanded finish in a brown antique color, and the carved Acanthus-inspired detailing is meant for an entryway, hallway or living room. Keep it inside, away from rain and standing moisture, and dust or wipe it gently to protect the finish and the carving.

Will the 47" Neoclassical Demilune Console fit a narrow entryway?

The Neoclassical Demilune Console measures 47" wide, 20" deep and 32" high, so it needs a wall at least 47" wide and about 20" of floor depth. Its demilune (half-round) profile is designed to sit flat against a wall, which keeps the front edge curved rather than squared off in a walkway. The 32" height is a typical console height for displaying framed pictures, a lamp, decorative objects or a flower pot.

Does the Neoclassical Demilune Console arrive assembled, and how is it shipped?

The Neoclassical Demilune Console requires some assembly on arrival. It weighs about 30 lb and is listed to ship by small parcel, so it comes by ground carrier to your door rather than by freight appointment. Inspect the carton before signing, photograph any damage and keep the packaging so Chic Home Deco can resolve a claim. If you prefer a textured top, the same HT-101 design is also offered with a crackle-finish table top as model HT-101C.
