Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Natsepa Teak Ottoman DS-703: Size, Weight & Use Questions

Can the Anderson Teak Natsepa DS-703 ottoman be used as a seat?

Yes, the Natsepa DS-703 is listed as a one-seat piece with an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb, so it works as extra seating as well as a footrest. It measures 25" wide by 29" deep by 15" high and includes a cushion. Anderson Teak uses it in several Natsepa sets to add a seat or leg rest across from the sectional.

Is the Natsepa DS-703 ottoman easy to move around?

Yes, at about 25 lb the Natsepa DS-703 is one of the lightest pieces in the collection, so it is easy to pull up to the sectional, move beside a fire pit or carry into storage. It ships by small parcel ground delivery to your door rather than by freight, so no delivery appointment is needed.

Does the Natsepa DS-703 ottoman need assembly, and how do I care for it?

Yes, the Natsepa DS-703 requires assembly. The teak has a smooth, well-sanded natural finish in honey golden brown that weathers to silver-gray outdoors unless you apply teak oil or sealer. Clean the frame with mild soap and a soft brush, and store the cushion dry during long rainy periods or winter. It is covered by Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.
