Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Orders are processed in 2–3 business days, with delivery about 5–7 business days after processing. Smaller items ship to your door by ground service; large furniture ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway on a scheduled appointment.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Modern Teak Rocking Armchair CHR-102: Comfort & Care FAQs

Is the Anderson Teak Modern rocking armchair CHR-102 comfortable without a cushion?

Yes, the Modern CHR-102 is shaped for comfort on its own, with a deep seat, an angled backrest and a tall concave back that gently wraps around you. It measures 26" wide by 36" deep by 40" high and has an estimated weight capacity of 250 lb. A cushion is not included, but optional Sunbrella cushions are available separately for longer sessions.

How much space does the Modern rocking chair need to rock?

The Modern CHR-102 is 36" deep at rest, and its distinctive leg-rocker design needs a little extra clearance front and back as it rocks. Plan for a clear area of roughly 26" wide by 4 feet deep, and keep it on a level deck or patio away from steps. That is an estimate; the listing gives only the 26" by 36" footprint.

Does the Modern rocking chair need assembly, and will it weather?

Yes, the Modern CHR-102 requires assembly, and at about 45 lb it ships by small parcel ground delivery to your door. Outdoors, the honey golden brown teak weathers to a silver-gray patina unless you apply teak oil or sealer. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush. It carries Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.
