Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Marlborough Teak Dining Armchair CHD-190: What to Know

Is the Anderson Teak Marlborough CHD-190 armchair wide enough for a dining table?

The Marlborough CHD-190 is a generous armchair at 36" wide, 24" deep and 41" high, with fully scrolled arms that add width. Check your table length before ordering: at 36" per chair, fewer chairs fit along each side than with a standard armless dining chair. It seats one person and has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb. It also works as a statement host chair or porch chair.

Does the Marlborough CHD-190 dining armchair come assembled?

Yes, the Marlborough CHD-190 requires no assembly, so it is ready to use out of the box. It weighs about 53 lb and ships by LTL freight with curbside delivery by appointment. A cushion is not included; add a seat cushion if you plan long dinners. The chair is backed by Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.

How do I keep the Marlborough teak armchair looking good outdoors?

To keep the Marlborough CHD-190 honey golden brown, clean it with mild soap and a soft brush and apply teak oil or sealer periodically; otherwise it weathers to a silver-gray patina over several months, which is cosmetic. Avoid high-pressure washing, which can roughen the grain on the scrolled arms and arches. Small end-grain checks are normal for teak and not defects.
