Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Malaga Teak Lounge Chair DS-111: Comfort, Size & Care FAQs

Is the Anderson Teak Malaga DS-111 lounge chair deep enough to relax in?

Yes, the Malaga DS-111 is a deep lounge chair at 37.5" deep, 30" wide and 32" high, with wide, thick armrests. It includes a 6" Sunbrella cushion and has a 16.5" seat height with the cushion in place, so it sits low and relaxed. It seats one adult and fits a 30" by 37.5" footprint on a patio or porch.

Will the Malaga lounge chair hold up in the weather?

Yes, the Malaga DS-111 frame is A-grade solid teak, which resists rot and insects thanks to its density and natural oils. Left untreated, it weathers from honey golden brown to silver-gray within several months; teak oil or sealer maintains the original tone. The 6" Sunbrella cushion is built for outdoor use, but storing it dry during long rainy spells and winter keeps it looking new.

Does the Malaga DS-111 need assembly?

Yes, the Malaga DS-111 requires assembly and weighs about 70 lb. It ships by LTL freight with curbside delivery by appointment, so plan for a second person to help move the box. It is covered by Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty against manufacturing defects.
