Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Madison 24" Backless Chair FAQ

Is assembly required?

Yes. Review the included instructions before assembly or use.

Are cushions included?

No. The product title and order confirmation govern what is included.

How should I compare this model?

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Madison 24" Teak Backless Chair: Shower, Spa & Dining Questions

Can the Anderson Teak Madison 24" backless chair be used in a shower?

Yes, Anderson Teak lists the Madison CHD-7024B for spa and shower spaces as well as dining areas. It is kiln-dried teak treated with a water-based sealer, and teak's natural oils help it tolerate moisture. Let it dry between uses and wipe away soap residue so the surface stays clean. At 18" high, 24" wide and 17" deep, it fits in most walk-in showers or beside a tub.

How much weight does the Madison 24" backless chair hold?

The Madison CHD-7024B has an estimated weight capacity of 250 lb and seats one person. Its backless design lets you sit facing either direction, which is handy at a dining table or in a bathroom. At only about 20 lb, it is easy to move between the shower, a vanity and the patio.

Does the Madison 24" backless chair need assembly, and is a cushion included?

The Madison CHD-7024B requires simple assembly and does not include a cushion. It ships by small parcel ground delivery to your door. The honey golden brown finish is sealed with a water-based sealer; outdoors, teak can still weather toward silver-gray over time. It is covered by Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.
