Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Madera Teak Swivel Armchair DS-528: What to Know Before You Buy

Does the Anderson Teak Madera DS-528 swivel armchair turn a full circle?

Yes, the Madera DS-528 swivels a full 360 degrees, so you can turn toward the conversation, a fire feature or the view without moving the chair. It measures 34" wide by 34" deep by 33" high and has a 16" seat height with its 5" Sunbrella cushion. Throw pillows are included. Leave a little clearance around it so the arms do not bump nearby furniture as it turns.

Can the Madera DS-528 swivel chair go on a covered porch or sunroom?

Yes, Anderson Teak suggests the Madera DS-528 for covered patios, porches, sunrooms and other outdoor living areas. Its A-grade solid teak frame handles outdoor exposure, and under cover the honey golden brown finish changes more slowly than in full sun and rain. The Sunbrella cushion fabric is water repellent and designed to help prevent mildew and fading.

How heavy is the Madera DS-528 swivel armchair, and does it need assembly?

The Madera DS-528 weighs about 85 lb and requires assembly, and it ships by LTL freight with curbside delivery by appointment. Its weight keeps it steady while swiveling. Anderson Teak uses it in the Madera SET-523 with four swivel chairs and SET-525 with two swivel chairs and a loveseat, so you can start with one and match more later.
