Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Madera Teak Rectangular Coffee Table DS-525: Before You Buy

How tall is the Anderson Teak Madera DS-525 coffee table?

The Madera DS-525 coffee table is 12" high, with a 48" by 24" top. That is lower than many coffee tables, designed to sit in front of Madera deep seating, which has a 16" cushioned seat height. The low profile keeps sightlines open across the seating group. If you need a smaller surface beside a chair, the matching Madera DS-526 side table is 24" square.

Will the Madera DS-525 teak coffee table survive outdoors?

Yes, the Madera DS-525 is kiln-dried A-grade solid teak, which is dense and naturally rich in oils, so it resists rot and insects outdoors. It will weather from honey golden brown to silver-gray over several months unless you apply teak oil or sealer. Small end-grain checks may appear with humidity changes and are normal for teak. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush.

Does the Madera DS-525 coffee table need assembly?

Yes, the Madera DS-525 requires assembly. At about 70 lb it ships by small parcel ground delivery to your door, so have a second person help carry the carton. It is included in several Madera sets, including SET-521, SET-522, SET-523 and SET-525. It carries Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.
