Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Madera Teak Deep Seating Loveseat DS-522: What to Know

Will the Anderson Teak Madera DS-522 loveseat fit two adults comfortably?

Yes, the Madera DS-522 is a two-seat deep seating loveseat measuring 61.5" wide by 32" deep by 31" high. The 16" seat height with cushion gives a low, relaxed lounge position. If you need room for three, the Madera DS-523 sofa is 87.5" wide. The loveseat ships with a 5" Sunbrella cushion and throw pillows.

Are the Madera DS-522 loveseat cushions weatherproof?

The Madera DS-522 cushions are Sunbrella fabric that Anderson Teak describes as outdoor water repellent and designed to help prevent mildew and fading. Water repellent is not the same as waterproof, so stand cushions on edge to dry after rain and store them indoors in winter. The frame is A-grade solid teak with a smooth natural finish that weathers to silver-gray unless oiled.

Does the Madera DS-522 loveseat require assembly?

Yes, the Madera DS-522 requires assembly. At about 100 lb it ships by LTL freight curbside by appointment, so a second person helps with unpacking and setup. It pairs with Madera armchairs, swivel chairs and tables, and it appears in Anderson Teak's SET-522 and SET-525 sets. It is covered by the 2-year Anderson Teak limited residential warranty against manufacturing defects.
