Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Luxe Left Modular Teak Sectional Chair DS-503: Buying Guide FAQs

Which side is the arm on the Anderson Teak Luxe DS-503 left modular chair?

The Luxe DS-503 is the left-arm module, meaning it forms the left end of a Luxe sofa or sectional. Arm orientation for modular seating is usually described as you face the piece, so confirm the layout before ordering. It seats one person, measures 31" wide by 33" deep by 32.5" high, and has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb. Pair it with the DS-502 right module, with DS-505 center or DS-504 corner pieces in between.

Can I build a Luxe loveseat with just the left and right modules?

Yes, joining the Luxe DS-503 left module with the DS-502 right module creates a two-seat loveseat about 62" wide, since each measures 31" wide by 33" deep. Add DS-505 center modules to lengthen it or a DS-504 corner module to turn it into an L-shape. Because each module is a separate piece, you can grow the arrangement later as your patio or budget allows.

Does the Luxe DS-503 come with a cushion, and what colors are offered?

Yes, the Luxe DS-503 includes one cushion. It is available in several Anderson Teak QuickShip colors or can be custom-ordered in 36 Sunbrella colors, which adds about three weeks of production time. The module weighs about 80 lb, requires assembly and ships by LTL freight. Its teak frame has a honey golden brown natural finish that will weather to silver-gray outdoors unless maintained with teak oil or sealer.
