Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Kingston Teak Dining Chair: Size, Capacity & Comfort FAQs

How much weight does the Anderson Teak Kingston dining chair support?

The Kingston dining chair has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb. It is a one-seater measuring 36" high by 17" wide by 20.5" deep, with a curved seat and back. Its slim 17" width lets you fit more chairs along a table than the 24"-wide Kingston dining armchair, which is useful at a smaller patio table.

Is the Kingston dining chair comfortable without a cushion?

The Kingston dining chair has a curved seat and back shaped for dining comfort, and it does not include a cushion. Many buyers use it bare outdoors, which avoids wet or stained cushions. Anderson Teak does not list a matching cushion for this chair, so if you want padding, a separate seat pad is an option.

Does the Kingston dining chair need assembly, and how does the teak age?

Yes, the Kingston dining chair requires assembly, and it ships as a small parcel to your door. The teak has a smooth, well-sanded natural finish in honey golden brown. Outdoors it gradually weathers to silver-gray unless oiled or sealed, without affecting strength. It is covered by a 2-year limited residential warranty.
