Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Orders are processed in 2–3 business days, with delivery about 5–7 business days after processing. Smaller items ship to your door by ground service; large furniture ships by LTL freight to your curb or driveway on a scheduled appointment.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Kingston Teak Dining Armchair: Size, Capacity & Assembly

How much weight does the Anderson Teak Kingston dining armchair hold?

The Kingston dining armchair has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb, comfortably above most adults. It measures 36" high by 24" wide by 25" deep, with a curved back and seat that give it a traditional armchair profile. At 24" wide, it is roomier than the 17"-wide armless Kingston dining chair, so allow about 24" of table edge per armchair when planning seats.

Is a cushion included with the Kingston dining armchair?

No, the Kingston dining armchair does not include a cushion. The curved seat and back are shaped for comfort on their own, which suits dining where cushions can get stained or wet. The teak has a smooth, well-sanded natural finish in honey golden brown; outdoors it weathers to silver-gray over months unless you oil or seal it. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush.

Does the Kingston dining armchair need assembly?

Yes, the Kingston dining armchair requires assembly, which is typically straightforward for a single chair. It ships as a small parcel directly to your door rather than by freight, and one Kingston dining armchair is included per order. It is backed by Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty; small end-grain checks and natural color variation in teak are normal and not defects.
