Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Katana Folding Teak Foot Stool: Weight Limit, Uses & Setup

Can I sit on the Anderson Teak Katana folding foot stool?

The Katana foot stool has an estimated weight capacity of only 80 lb, so it is meant for resting your feet or as an occasional table rather than for adult seating. It measures 18" wide by 20" deep and 17" to 18.5" high. Its 17" to 18.5" height suits most lounge chairs and the Katana recliner.

Does the Katana foot stool fold flat?

Yes, the Katana foot stool folds for moving and storage, so you can put it away with the Katana recliner. It is teak with a smooth, natural honey golden brown finish, and it weathers to silver-gray outdoors unless oiled or sealed. Folding also makes it easy to bring indoors during long wet periods. Clean with mild soap and a soft brush, and avoid high-pressure washing.

Does the Katana foot stool need assembly?

Yes, the Katana foot stool requires assembly, and a cushion is not included. It ships as a small parcel to your door and carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Assembly is typically simple for a stool this size. Pair it with the Katana 5-position recliner, which folds too, for a matching set you can store together. Inspect the parts on arrival and report any damage with photos right away.
