Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Director Teak Folding Armchairs with Canvas (Pair): FAQs

How many Anderson Teak Director folding armchairs come in this order?

This listing is a pair: you receive two Director folding armchairs. Each chair measures 35" high by 23" wide by 21" deep, weighs about 20 lb and has an estimated weight capacity of 250 lb. The teak frames have a water-based sealer, and the seat and back are fabric.

Do the Director armchairs fold flat for storage?

Yes, the Director armchairs fold flat for easy moving and storage, which makes them handy for a balcony, boat, café or as spare seats for guests. They arrive fully assembled, so they are ready to use as soon as they are unpacked. Anderson Teak rates them for both indoor and outdoor use.

How do I care for the Director folding armchairs?

Clean the Director armchairs' teak frames with mild soap and a soft brush, and wipe or spot-clean the fabric seat and back. Fold and store the chairs out of the weather during long wet periods to keep the fabric fresh. The teak's water-based sealer helps protect the finish, but it will weather toward silver-gray unless you reapply a sealer.
