Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Del-Amo 4-Foot Teak Glider: Fit, Capacity & Care FAQs

How many people can sit on the Anderson Teak Del-Amo 4-foot glider?

The Del-Amo 4-foot glider seats two, with an estimated weight capacity of 500 lb. It is 49" wide and 36" high, so it fits a typical front porch, deck or patio. The glider moves with a smooth back-and-forth motion, and the seat is contoured for comfort during longer sits.

Will the Del-Amo glider scratch my porch or deck?

Anderson Teak fits the Del-Amo glider with non-marking plastic feet to help protect porches, decks and patios. It is built from solid A-grade teak with mortise-and-tenon joinery. Place it on a level surface, and allow clearance behind the seat for the gliding motion. Outdoors, clean the teak with mild soap and a soft brush rather than a pressure washer.

Does the Del-Amo glider come with a cushion, and does it need assembly?

No cushion is included with the Del-Amo glider; Sunbrella cushions are available separately. This listing shows no assembly required, although Anderson Teak's product page mentions easy assembly, so keep basic tools handy. It ships by LTL freight, curbside by appointment. Untreated teak weathers to silver-gray outdoors unless oiled.
