Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Curve Extra Thick Teak Armchair: Comfort, Strength & Care

How strong is the Anderson Teak Curve extra thick armchair?

The Curve armchair has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb and uses extra-thick solid teak through the frame and armrests, which gives it a solid, substantial feel. It measures 31" wide by 26" deep by 34" high and weighs 38 lb, heavy enough to stay put but still easy to reposition.

Does the Curve armchair match the Curve benches?

Yes, the Curve armchair shares the curved back and armrest styling of the Curve 3-seater bench and Curve love seat bench, and it is one of the pieces in the Curve 4-piece conversation set. Use a pair with a Curve bench and coffee table for a full conversation grouping. All pieces are honey golden brown teak with a smooth, well-sanded natural finish.

Is a cushion included with the Curve armchair, and does it need assembly?

No cushion is included with the Curve armchair, and no assembly is required; it arrives ready to use. It ships by LTL freight, curbside by appointment. Left untreated outdoors, the teak weathers to silver-gray over several months; clean with mild soap and a soft brush, and use teak oil if you prefer to keep the golden tone.
