Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Curve 3-Seater Extra Thick Teak Bench: Before You Buy

How many people fit on the Anderson Teak Curve 3-seater extra thick bench?

The Curve 3-seater bench seats three across its 64" width and has an estimated weight capacity of 500 lb. It is 26" deep and 34" high, and its curved back and armrests wrap the full length in a distinctive peanut shape. Anderson Teak lists the seat height at 18". It is a heavy, stable bench, suited to a garden, patio or poolside.

Why is the Curve bench called extra thick, and is it durable?

The Curve bench is built from thicker-than-usual grade A teak, which makes it stable, bulky and resistant to wobbling. Anderson Teak rates it as a heavy duty commercial product and kiln dries the wood to 8-12% moisture to limit shrinking and cracking. Teak's natural oils help it resist rot and insects outdoors.

Does the Curve 3-seater bench come with a cushion, and does it need assembly?

No cushion is included with the Curve 3-seater bench; optional Sunbrella cushions are available separately in select colors. It is listed with no assembly required. The bench ships by LTL freight, curbside by appointment. Untreated, the honey golden brown teak weathers to silver-gray; teak oil or sealer keeps the original color.
