Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Coronado Teak Deep Seating Armchair: Before You Buy

How comfortable is the Anderson Teak Coronado teak deep seating armchair?

The Coronado teak armchair is built for lounging, with a 6"-thick cushion included and a low 16" cushioned seat height. The curved frame measures 31" wide by 31.5" deep by 24" high, giving plenty of room to sit back or tuck your legs up. Pair it with a Coronado ottoman to stretch out fully.

Will the Coronado teak armchair turn gray outdoors?

Yes, if left untreated outdoors the Coronado armchair's solid A-grade teak weathers from honey golden brown to a silver-gray patina over several months. It is a surface change only; teak's dense, oil-rich grain resists rot and insects. To keep the golden color, clean with mild soap and a soft brush and apply teak oil or sealer. Avoid high-pressure washing.

Does the Coronado teak armchair come assembled?

Yes, the Coronado teak armchair arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to build. It weighs 50 lb and ships by LTL freight with curbside delivery by appointment. Anderson Teak backs it with a 2-year limited warranty for residential use (1 year commercial) against manufacturing defects; small end-grain checks and natural color variation are normal and not defects.
