Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Chicago Teak Dining Armchair CHD-721: Size, Comfort & Setup

How tall is the Anderson Teak Chicago Armchair, and will it fit my table?

The Chicago Armchair (CHD-721) stands 40" high, 22" wide and 23.5" deep, with a curved seat and back that give a shaped, supportive profile. Its tall back makes it a statement piece at the head of a dining table. Check that the arms clear your table apron before ordering. It weighs 29 lb and has an estimated weight capacity of 300 lb.

How does the Chicago Armchair differ from the Chicago Chair?

The Chicago Armchair adds arms and a wider seat: it measures 22" wide by 23.5" deep, while the armless Chicago Chair (CHD-720) is 18" wide by 21.5" deep. Both are 40" high, share the same curved seat and back and honey golden brown teak finish, and have a 300 lb estimated weight capacity. Many buyers place armchairs at the ends and chairs along the sides.

Does the Chicago Armchair need assembly, and is a cushion included?

The Chicago Armchair requires assembly and does not include a cushion; one armchair is included. It ships by small parcel to your door. The teak has a smooth, well-sanded natural finish that will weather toward silver-gray outdoors unless you oil it periodically, while indoor use keeps the golden tone longer.
