Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Chester Teak Dining Chair CHD-2026: Compact Fit & Care

How narrow is the Anderson Teak Chester Dining Chair?

The Chester Dining Chair (CHD-2026) is 17" wide, 21.5" deep and 36" high, a compact armless size that lets you fit more seats around a table. It weighs 25 lb and has an estimated weight capacity of 250 lb. For the table ends, the Chester Dining Armchair (CHD-2027) adds arms in a 20"-wide frame.

Can I add cushions to the Chester Dining Chair?

Yes, cushions are not included with the Chester Dining Chair, but optional cushions are available separately in Sunbrella fabric with several color choices. Custom cushions are made to order with about 3 weeks of production. Without a cushion, the chair has a clean teak look that is easy to wipe down after meals.

How durable is the Chester teak dining chair outdoors?

The Chester Dining Chair is kiln-dried teak treated with a water-based sealer, and teak's natural oils help it resist rot and insects outdoors. Left untreated over time, the honey golden brown finish will weather toward silver-gray without losing strength. It requires assembly, ships by small parcel, and carries Anderson Teak's 2-year limited residential warranty.
