Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Chester Teak Dining Armchair CHD-2027: Size, Capacity & Setup

How much weight can the Anderson Teak Chester Dining Armchair support?

The Chester Dining Armchair (CHD-2027) has an estimated weight capacity of 250 lb. It measures 20" wide by 24" deep by 36" high and weighs 35 lb, with arms for extra support when sitting down or standing up. It is the wider, armed companion to the 17"-wide Chester Dining Chair (CHD-2026).

Does the Chester Dining Armchair come with a seat cushion?

No, the Chester Dining Armchair is sold without a cushion, so you can pair it with a separately selected cushion if you want extra comfort. Custom cushions are made to order and typically take about 3 weeks of production. The teak itself is treated with a water-based sealer in a honey golden brown finish.

Is the Chester Dining Armchair difficult to assemble?

The Chester Dining Armchair requires assembly, but at 35 lb it is a manageable job for one person. It ships by small parcel to your door, so there is no freight appointment to schedule. Once assembled, clean it with mild soap and a soft brush; outdoors, the teak will weather toward silver-gray unless you reseal or oil it.
