Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Catania Swivel Chair FAQ

Is assembly required?

No. Review the included instructions before assembly or use.

Are cushions included?

Yes. The product title and order confirmation govern what is included.

How should I compare this model?

Compared with a stationary lounge chair, the Catania adds up to 360 degrees of rotation; compared with a narrower dining chair, its 35-inch depth and 16.5-inch cushioned seat height suit a deeper seating setup.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania Teak Swivel Chair DS-338: Swivel, Comfort & Fit

Does the Anderson Teak Catania Swivel Chair rotate 360 degrees?

Yes, the Catania Swivel Chair (DS-338) has a swivel mechanism that rotates up to 360 degrees, so you can turn toward the fire pit, the view or the conversation. It is a deep seating chair measuring 31" wide by 35" deep by 30" high. Keep a little open space around it so the rounded frame can turn without bumping walls, tables or other chairs.

How comfortable is the Catania Swivel Chair, and is the cushion included?

Yes, the Catania Swivel Chair comes with a 6"-thick cushion, giving a 16.5" seat height for low, relaxed lounging. The rounded frame combines A-grade solid teak with 4mm synthetic rattan webbing in a honey golden brown finish. It matches the Catania sofa and armchair, and two of these chairs are included in the Catania SET-338 deep seating set.

Is the Catania Swivel Chair heavy, and does it need assembly?

The Catania Swivel Chair weighs 77 lb and arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to put together. Its weight keeps it steady while swiveling, but plan on two people to carry it from the curb, since it ships by LTL freight by appointment. Outdoors, the teak will weather to silver-gray over time unless oiled; clean it with mild soap and a soft brush.
