Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania 102" Teak Dining Table: Seating, Assembly & Care

How many people can sit at the Anderson Teak Catania Dining Table?

The Catania Dining Table (DS-329) seats six to eight people. It measures 102" long by 39" wide and 30" high, a long rectangular top built from large, wide teak slats. For eight, you can fit three or four 24"-wide Catania dining chairs along each side. Leave room around the table so chairs can pull out comfortably.

Does the Catania Dining Table require assembly?

Yes, the Catania Dining Table requires assembly. At 224 lb, it needs at least two people to unpack, assemble and position. It ships by LTL freight to the curb or driveway by appointment, and inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after ordering if you would rather not do it yourself. Inspect the cartons before signing and keep the packaging until everything is checked.

Will the Catania teak dining table crack or turn gray outdoors?

The Catania Dining Table is A-grade solid teak and is listed as outdoor weather resistant, so it is built to stay outside year-round. Untreated teak weathers to a silver-gray patina over months without losing strength, and you can oil it to keep the honey golden brown tone. Small end-grain checks and hairline cracks are a normal part of solid teak and are not considered defects under the Anderson Teak warranty.
