Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania Teak Dining Chair with Cushion: Comfort & Table Fit

What seat height does the Anderson Teak Catania Dining Chair have with the cushion?

The Catania Dining Chair (DS-335) has an 18" seat height with its included 2.5" Sunbrella cushion, and 15.5" without it. That suits a standard 30"-high dining table such as the Catania DS-329. The chair measures 24" wide by 25.25" deep by 28" high and weighs 37 lb, so it is sturdy yet easy to pull in and out.

How many Catania dining chairs fit around the Catania dining table?

The 102"-long Catania DS-329 dining table is sized for six to eight Catania dining chairs. Each DS-335 chair is 24" wide, so you can place three or four chairs along each long side, depending on how much elbow room you want. The Catania 7-Piece Dining Set bundles the table with six of these chairs, and you can add two more individually.

Does the Catania dining chair need assembly, and how do I care for it?

No, the Catania Dining Chair arrives fully assembled. Its frame is solid A-grade teak with 4mm synthetic rattan webbing on the seat and back in a honey golden brown finish. Left outside, the teak will weather to silver-gray unless you apply teak oil periodically. Wipe the webbing and frame with mild soap and water, and keep the cushion dry when the chair is not in use.
