Teak Care & Natural Weathering

Teak naturally develops a silver-gray patina when exposed to the elements. This color change is part of the wood’s normal aging process and does not by itself indicate a structural defect. Clean with mild soap and water and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the appearance you prefer.

Inside & assembly Available on request

What curbside delivery means: For freight items, the carrier brings the shipment to the curb, driveway, or nearest safe, accessible point — freight drivers do not enter the home. Moving pieces indoors, unpacking, and assembly aren’t part of standard delivery, but inside delivery and assembly can be arranged after you order.

Freight-truck access is required: The LTL carrier must be able to safely reach the delivery location to complete curbside delivery. Narrow roads, restricted entrances, gates, steep approaches, remote routes, or similar conditions can prevent normal freight delivery.

Inspect your delivery: Inspect the cartons, pallet, and visible condition before signing the delivery receipt. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork, take clear photographs, retain all packaging, and notify Chic Home Deco immediately.

Free shipping covers standard ground or LTL curbside delivery within the 48 contiguous United States and is a limited-time offer. It does not include Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and assembly are available as optional services — just ask us after ordering. Additional arrangements may be required when the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location.

Catania Teak Deep Seating Armchair: Comfort, Fit & Cushions

How big is the Anderson Teak Catania Deep Seating Armchair?

The Catania Deep Seating Armchair (DS-331) measures 31" wide by 35" deep by 30" high and weighs 72 lb. The rounded frame gives a roomy, deep seat, and the seat height with the cushion is 16.5", a low lounge height for relaxing. Allow a little extra depth behind it if it sits against a wall, and check the 35" depth fits your walkway before ordering.

Does the Catania armchair come with cushions, and can I choose the color?

Yes, the Catania Deep Seating Armchair includes 6"-thick Sunbrella cushions. You can pick from Anderson Teak QuickShip cushion colors or order custom Sunbrella colors; custom cushions are made to order with about 3 weeks of production. The frame pairs solid teak with 4mm synthetic rattan webbing in a honey golden brown finish, so neutral or contrasting cushions both work with it.

Will the Catania armchair match the Catania sofa and swivel chair?

Yes, the Catania Deep Seating Armchair shares the same solid teak and 4mm synthetic rattan webbing, honey golden brown finish, 30" height and 16.5" cushioned seat height as the Catania sofa. It is the armchair used in the Catania SET-333 deep seating set. Buying it separately lets you add extra seats around an existing Catania sofa and coffee table. It arrives fully assembled.
